I have sent my newspaper contact person those references and also a
reference to LC 1137, "Metric Style Guide", a brief summary of the
main "style" considerations.
I also took this opportunity to look up these publications on the
internet for myself and to download them, since they are the 2008
versions. (My old copies are from 1991 and 1995.)
