No - that's what I was talking about - airside.  Eg the boarding gantries - 
whatever they're called.  I guess it's kinda sad that I notice these things 
though :-)
Some are dual others are imperial.  The first one you see is imperial.
And last time I looked pilots were not peasants (I'm making assumptions that 
you mean imperial=peasant!).
P.S. For John S benefit - yes I know, except Russian and Chinese pilots ;-)

But if you look out of the aircraft
window, you will notice that most, if not all the height signs that are airside
are in metric units – it is a matter of one system of measure for the
professionals and another for the peasants.

a return to the UK
the first sight I usually see at Heathrow or Gatwick is the 'feet and inches'
red triangle on the low hanging stuff on the taxi/gate areas :-)
