"With the objective of bringing the United States into harmony with world standards for trade and commerce, *only* units of measurement from the International System of Units (SI), as defined in Special Publication 330 of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, shall be legal for retail trade and commerce throughout the United States, effective January 1, 2020."
