Couple of areas that are somewhat consistent and correct in India are mass
(in kg) and temperature (degrees Celsius). Most often concessions are made
around acres/square feet and feet. As for accurate SI symbols and
multiples, one has to remember how poverty ridden and illiterate the vast
masses still are.
