I'm sure it's got something to do with American input somewhere, just
like Costco UK listing the size of steak in ounces only (they changed
that to grams now), except this is unit pricing. Most French have no
idea what an ounce is anyway and this is a fluid ounce not a mass ounce.
I did write to Amazon, we'll see what happens.
My daughter had wanted some of this stuff and said it was much cheaper
in France, not so sure? When I saw the price on Amazon, it seems to be
double what it is in the USA looking online.

Yes, I see it too.
A few seem to also use the decimal point rather than decimal comma.
While the product brand claims to be from London, they are using the
US fl oz, not Imperial. I wonder if it is a failure to fully
translate an Amazon US page.

Not sure this is legal,
http://www.amazon.fr/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_9/279-6721097-2695639?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&url=search-alias%3Dbeauty&field-keywords=jo%20malone&sprefix=jo+malone%2Caps%2C177
Seems Amazon France is pricing perfume by the oz when it's listed in ml.
let me know if it's the same when you use the URL above.
