Maybe it's taking you to the US site because you are in the U.S. Should
be www.amazon.fr When I checked just now, the price was for 250 Ml/8.5
ounce. The unit price was EUR 12,22/oz. Some items were ml and others Ml.
Whoever wrote this page has no idea that Ml is Mega litres and oz in
mass not volume.
I have to agree, price per kg, litre, ml makes things very simple.

Almost all the tens of items at the URL below are advertised by the ml, not by
the ounce.
In contrast, the article in Consumer Reports displays salad dressings, Unit
Priced only in price per pint and price per quart.
I characterize this practice as a “defect" in NIST SP 1181 which accepts (on
Page 9), Unit Pricing by units
from outside the SI in the denominators of Unit Prices.
The OWM at NIST, which publishes SP 1181, does not agree with my
characterization.
What is your opinion?

Seems Amazon France is pricing perfume by the oz when it's listed in ml. let me
know if it's the same when you use the URL above.
