Hi, everyone,
A concerned citizen named Jordan Crane has started a Parliamentary petition
asking that the UK should complete its metrication. If it reaches 10 000
signatures the government must respond to it, and at 100 000 or more it must be
considered for debate in Parliament.

Any British members of this email list will obviously want to sign it, which is
why I have posted it here, and I have dropped a line to the UKMA. Are there any
other avenues for promoting this petition online?

(To answer any questions; In the UK road distances and speed limits are still
officially displayed as miles and miles per hour; milk, draught beer and cider
are still sold in pints, and it is still legal to display prices per Imperial
pound (or other measure,) although goods must be sold in metric units. Also,
the media still use a lot of Imperial units. If i am wrong in any of this,
please let me know.)
