It's been driving me mad for too long that Google doesn't give me a
settings option to select search results in English in the United States in
metric units.

Yes, one may choose language and part of the world. And yeah, I've tried
telling it (and it's happy to hear it) that I am in some other part of the
world than I am. But that, over time, makes for its own complications,
misunderstandings, and miseries. So I switch back, ahem, to the truth.

So every now and then, after I've searched for something, I scroll or leap
to the very bottom of the search results page. There one finds the buttons
Help, Send feedback, Privacy, and Terms. And I click Send feedback to tell
them, beg them, ask as sweetly as my uneasy mind will allow, to please,
please, please offer English-language search results to users in the United
States.

Anyone have any other ideas? Anyone else like to join me in sending
feedback? I'm sure if a dozen or so of us wrote asking for an SI search
result option, Google would change it in a minute.

Kind regards,
Clay
