I started a discussion about metricating education. So far, we've figured out that the person to petition is the NCTM. If you have ideas to contribute to that discussion, please do so. I don't think any of us by himself knows enough to draft a successful petition. You responded to a message about the units in Google search results with a petition about metric education.
