Hi there,

Thanks for the replies. I reinstalled ubuntu 16.04(removed SoapyUHD packages) did a clean install and checked everything. Still having the problem. There is a photo in the attachments.

Regards.
Could you point us to the exact procedure that you used to install?

Hi, I went through the same difficulties and here is what solved
    this issue:
    - I deleted all the images from the /usr/local/share/uhd/images/
    folder
    - I manually downloaded some older version, available on
    files.ettus.com/binaries/images
    <http://files.ettus.com/binaries/images>. I chose the file
    uhd-images_3.11.0.git-227-g9277fc58.zip
    - I extracted it in the previous folder
    - I tried to run a simple flowgraph on gnuradio-companion. I saw
the firmware upload, but it did not work.
    - Then, I don't remember precisely what was needed, but I
unplugged/repluged everything, restarted the computer or just
    gnuradio-companion, and it worked!

    Hope it helps!

    Paul

Warning message can be seen in the attachments.
I'm going to guess that you have two different installations of
UHD on your system, or a "half-and-half" situation.

Did you get any errors when you ran uhd_images_downloader?
