I think something like this would be really cool, but I've avoided doing
something like this for a few reasons.  The Church tries to be really
careful about data.  I'm a little more security-minded than most people,
but I still don't really trust myself.  I could imagine putting a page
out there, thinking it's just fine, but then having someone steal data
from it.  Imagining how guilty I would feel has dissuaded me from trying
to do this.  Additionally, the Church officially said not to have ward
web sites a few years ago, and something like this would definitely have
to be administrative-only if it's going to be in the letter and spirit
of this policy.

That said, I have put stuff on my own computer that makes it possible to
do at least some of the things that you have pointed out.
