I put a small bead between the rubber gasket and the master cylinder
housing. The top cap is designed to allow air to get in between the gasket
and the top cap, if you take it off and look at the underside you will see a
little notch to allow this. I used very little silicone on the gasket, you
don't want any to get into lines and clog it. I am also using DOT 5 silicone
fluid because I knew I would be having problems and didn't want ruin my
paint with DOT 3.
