Good luck on cleaning/replacing your gas tank .... However .. it
sounds like you are still in trouble for a lot of parts .... I was
looking at Ben's '91, (with the front end damage), on EBay ... This
bike looks "good" ... have you considered picking up a donor bike ??
It appears this bike is still running well under $1500 bucks and has a
good engine w/ 14K ... You might pick up a good engine for re-sale
here, (to offset your expense), and obtain all the parts you need in
the bargain ... just a thought .....
