Hey Marcus, I have a 2000 also. The motor produces 140 horsepower in 1985
they produced 145 because of the exhaust. in 1986 they had to muffle it
more(D.O.T.was bitching) so they played with the engine to try and keep the
horsepower the same even thou more restricted exhaust. I believe they
enlarged the exhaust valves and a couple other things any one who knows can
jump in now!
