Even though I'm in my first week of carb work, I would think you need to
open the mixture screws maybe half a turn. I say that b/c of Terry's site
saying backfiring is due to a lean condition.
BTW, I returned my main jet and needles back to stock to resolve my
supertrapp slip-on richness problem. It really does take me for a ride now!!
Old Man said it would lift a wheel easy and sure enough.... I'm a happy
camper for now. Stage 7 can wait... It's Daytona tommorrow!
