Sorry guys - I was too blown away by the all of the V-Maxes & tech talk to
shoot any pictures! (I'm not much of one for lots of pic's anyway) We'll
have to wait for Eric to save up some ca$h!

I do have a few questions for next year:
1. Does everyone bring spare tires to the burnout contest? Is there a
mounting machine to put the good street tire back on? or do I need a spare
wheel as well for after the contest? (I'm due for a new rear soon and will
save this one for next year's contest if that's how things are done...)

2. When mounting my bike up on the dyno, the PCS guys noticed I had the
Yami factory replacement pipes, but he wasn't sure if they were the quieter
(& more restrictive) later versions found on the post '85 Maxes. I bought
my Max from the original owner who did not appear to have modified the bike
in any way. (He said he even left the oil changes for the dealer he was such
a geek) HOWEVER, he bought it 'new' in 86 or 87, and I'm wondering if the
damn EPA made the dealers install the more quiet pipes on all of the unsold
bikes as well...
Has anyone heard of anything like that? (I'm assuming there's only one
Yami replacement - 1UT-14721)
Thanks,
Chris Chaja

Have lots of pic's . Just need about $500 to get them developed :-)
One
guy got some great shots of me in the burnout pit at the Iron Horse
. I
removed the can off the the Hindle and burned the tire at 7 grand in
fourth gear for a min. and a half. John & Jim Furber did a stereo
burn &
poped both tires . The place went nuts! No more Harleys went into
the
        pit while we were there.
