Tom,
It doesn't matter, (but you will be pulling a little more juice .. all
the time .. ). The fronts are duals and have running lamps on all the
time. The stock rears are just turn signals. You could put dual
filaments in the back and just connect the turn signal leads .. but I
do see more people all the time hooking up rear running lamps, (so you
would have to splice into the main lamp feed back there). The last
time we went on an "evening" ride ... everyone in front of me had
three lamps burning in the rear and I thought mine were broke !! IMHO
it looks good and makes you a lot more visible at night, and if one of
them burns out on the road at night you won't get run over ......
