The polished bolt you are refering to really isn't a bolt.  It's a plastic cap
that is hand pressed into the hex bolt.  Just take a very smal flat heat screw
driver and pop it out.  be sure to take you time doing this or you will damage
the plastic cap.  hope this helps..
