I am not aware of any WHEEL  offset  from the factory.  My frame was offset 10
mm and was corrected.

You would create some problems with that including losing some spline
engagement. I would have to look a little closer to see what else it would
effect.

You would probably lose a little "crispness" in the handling.  I know there are
other bikes out there with a wheel offset and they seem to get away with it.--
