A Can of Worms
All I can say about this is that you folks out there
that are putting wider tires than are designed for the rims and in fact
offseting the rims via spacers
are asking for a bunch of trouble. The folks that make the custom rims and
the widths to accomodate radial tires and the associated offset with the
rims do a lot of research before putting there butt on the line.Dennis Kirk
has a tire chart posted in there catalog that will give some insight as to
the correct tire size in relation to the rim width as well as the web sites
that are available thru Pauls site and many others on the web. I did a LOT
of research with the rims and radials that I have as I am sure that Paul and
the folks with the Dymags have. The rims and tires on your monster are the
most important equipment on the bike and not to be taken lightly.Enough
ranting.Bob H
