Which is why hydraulic brakes work. Pressure anywhere is pressure
everywhere.

Virtually never an issue in braking systems. Friction losses are problems in
hydraulic motors, not brakes - No flow to speak of.

I agree. The master cylinder, as far as I know, is not redundant soooo,
unless your Max has a dual master cylinder system, it's sharing a plenum for
the fluid anyway. Doesn't matter where the split happens.
