That is true .. but the platinum is supposed to take "less" voltage to
jump ... and allegedly that will allow you to open the gap up without
requiring extra effort to fire them. If this "is" true ... as they
claim ... then "all else being equal" including gap .. the platinum
will fire at the lower voltage ... not allowing it to rise as high as
the "stock" plug and not creating as great an arc ... Sooooooo .. this
would be equivalent to under gapping a standard plug ... and of course
that will foul ... (I got a tee shirt at that show too). At .. least
this is what some nerd says on a spark plug site I visited ... I have
wanted to try this ... (since my own personal "undergapping" training
session was so painful) .. but have not gotten my hands on a set of
platinum yet .......
