Hi.
I just got a new 2000 V-Max, and so far have been enjoying it very much
(quite a step from my 81 XJ650!).
There's one thing that I've been having trouble with though... The LEDs
on the console aren't bright enough. I can see the turn signal
LED easily, but in the sun it is sometimes quite hard to see the neutral
light. Doesn't matter much as I don't need a LED to tell me I'm in
neutral :-), but I have the same problem with the "fuel low" LED and
that one really bothers me.. Not to mention that the one for oil level
is the same color and I wouldn't like to not notice when that one comes
on.
Has anyone ever done a quick fix for these? Either replacing them with
brighter ones, or maybe changing the lens color? Or better yet, adding a
bit of circuitry to make them blink?
