Howard,
My bike does nothing when not running and is impressive as far as fuel consumption
goes..........
Sorry Howard I just read the subject on your message and had to make the comment.
It really sounds very strange, since you have to have mixture in the cylinders to
explode and the explosion only takes place when the pick-up coil sends the low tension
signal to the ignitor unit........ Thinking about it, as long as the engine stops
rotating exactly in line with the rotors pick-up coils when you turn off the key, a
spark would be generated on whichever piston that was near enough to TDC when you turn
on the key again, but as I read on your message this only happens when you leave the
bike standing for a week or so. if the bike is doing exactly what you say, normally
the engine would turn backwards in that situation, unless....... your ignition timing
was totally up the creek. My only suggestions are: Check your ignition and timing and
check for a slow fuel leak into the combustion chambers.
No other suggestions, but please keep in touch.
