Sam, I would agree that to leave the needles alone if the bike is running
well. If you want a bit more power then open up the airbox a bit more and
adjust the fuel curve accordingly. I have my airbox open a bit more than you
plus I drive in very cool air hence my shimmed needles. However between you
and me, I will be checking my mileage very closely and may close things back
up before I go on an extended trip this summer. I need mileage more than
brute power to get down the Alaska highway...
