Jeff,
It has been a while since I had the speedo off ... but I think after
you get it off of the bike ... you will see screws to release the
housing from underneath the unit, (the rear part only). Of course you
have to unscrew the odometer handle also .... Get a Virago tach
housing off of HLSM if you don't want to plug the speedo cover hole,
(of course the Virago has a bullet nose instead of being flat).
