Tim, if your bike is pre 96, the 96 and later have a better one. It is
heavily finned for better heat disapation. The new Venture I don't know,
but the earlier ones from the Venture Royale will work. The last year
they were made was 93 I think. Also check your battery level more often
as the increase of having to charge more will use up fluid level more.
