I don't know about the boom mike personally, since I don't use one. But,
the chinguard seems the same shape as all the chinguards on fixed helmets.
The action of the chinguard when lifted is forward and up, since the pivot
point is above the ear.
I have removed a small foam insert at the ear and inserted speakers
harvested from cheap headphones, and I can easily hear my radio to 80 mph.
Here is the sizing chart from mawonline.com comparing different sizes per
helmet company. I was a bit concerned myself with buying a helmet without
trying it on. But since I didn't find a local dealer, I used the sizing of
Shoei helmets (which are all over the place), then used this chart to get
the right fit. http://www.mawonline.com/znolan.htm

hey guys thanks for the replies
Joe, I hope your wrong on the sizing thing because I wear XXL and seems
that's the biggest they carry
Scott, last yr. I got a Arai Renegade and love it but I need a new helmet
for the valk and intercom
my Arai open face has seen it's better days (got it in 94 when we got the
goldwing)
I would think a person could reach both button's with one hand
another question
how is the vision out of this helmet
and how close does the full face part come to your nose
the reason I ask this is because my open face now has the boom mic for my
intercom
I want this helmet to work like the old one I have now
I can flip up the face part and still talk on my boom mic
u guys think there is room between my chin and helmet for this boom to be
tucked in there?
