Thanks Don .. I appreciate that .. but I think Gary already had this
one nailed down ... These CVs can certainly eat your lunch sometimes
... They get mine a lot .. but we have to keep him moving ... He has
to get out there and be intimidating !!
I would love to be a fly on the wall when these guys with the 1500s
who have significant others or wives are explaining what is happening
as they are crating everything up to go to PCW.....
Uhh ... yes dear ... this bike has been in production for 15 years ...
and the only engine overhaul kits that you can get anymore are the 200
horsepower ones ... Yes .. dear .. I think its outrageous too .. but I
guess it is better to do this than to have to buy a whole new bike ...
and the guys on the technical list seem to think that this is a good
idea .. because you are safer having the extra horsepower to
accelerate out of a dangerous situation ... Oh .. those R1 bikes ...
ahhhh .. oh no .. those are $30,000 dear .. yea .. I would like to
have one of those ... but this is only 1/3 the cost ... so we will be
saving a lot of money .... and if I do a few other things to the
suspension and such ... it won't be that bad .. I guess I will be able
to get a few more years out of it ..... You saw R1s for $10,000 ??
.... oh no dear .. that is a come on just to get you into the
dealership ... oh yea .. by the time you get mirrors and decent tires
and everything it is right back up there ... for sure ... this is a
lot better deal in the long run .. oh yea ... ;>)
