rectifier/regulator/stator

Having charging probs.  Ohm check on stator was .4-.5 ohms.  Also checked 
voltage at disconnect 50 VAC @ 3,000 rpm.  Only getting about 1 VDC @ 
disconnect coming out of the regulator/rectifier no matter what the rpm is.  
Any help would be appreciated as to what my problem is.
