You can't check the regulator/rectifier while running. Follow the
directions in the trouble shooting section in the manual. You have to
check the stator on AC, not DC, there the motor has to be running. Rerun
the test as I previously described. If it still won't show 50 volts on
AC on both legs then the stator is bad.
