I agree with you 100%. I had to learn this lesson the hard way. In 1993 Iwrecked
my CB550 and was wearing no helmet. I was very lucky as I was only knocked
unconscience for 30 minutes. I was then taken to Balboa Navy hospita for a week
of recovery and lesson learning. I saw a lot of messed up guys there. I will not
ride w/o a brain bucket now. Your point about a bug/rock/etc. is the part that
most people don't consider when riding w/o a helmet. This unfortunately will be a
most likely cause of someone loosing it when a bug takes out and eye at 65.
