IMHO .. I think you are gaining on the fuel bowls ... this could be
because you are sucking up trash .. need a new filter, to clean out
the carb bowls or tank but I don't think so ........... I think you
are creating a vacuum in the tank ... check the vent hose ..... and
the "roll-over" valve attached to the "vent" hose, (looks like a small
fuel filter), ... if this guy is stuck shut you will experience the
symptoms you have described. I think a similar problem, (fuel tank
vacuum), ate part of Furber's lunch one time and he wrote a Vboost
article about it. You can get a clear picture of this device and it's
attachment to the neck of the fuel tank by looking at the microfiche
at HLSM ...
