Hello. I've finally ordered a pair of 11.5" Progressive Shocks. I have already
purchased a second side stand which I'm going to have shortened. Meanwhile, I was
wondering whether the stock center stand would function correctly (although, I realize
it would be much harder to get the bike up), or would the angle of the feet of the
stand with the lowered bike render it unusable. I know I SHOULD have it shortened as
well, but I'd rather not pay for a second center stand (and have it modified), because
I do want to be able to return to stock whenever I want (so if the current stand will
work, I don't want to shorten it). Thanks for any help. Paul D. VMOA#742
