It's not Progressive Shocks in themselves. It's the 11.5" lowering
shocks. They also make shocks in the stock 13.25" length. I chose
418's because they are rebuildable. They are also aluminum which look
really sharp. Lowering the bike brings down the center of gravity which
allows it to corner a bit easier. They front is lowered too. Being
5'8" tall, lowering also allows me to stand flat footed when stopped.
As far as ride goes, I found that they are stiffer than stock.
