I agree with you ... I was posting what he needed to match "stock"
RPM/speed performance. You are absolutely correct though ... he could
go much higher with all that torque ... gearing like a stocker will
only make it harder to hook this thing up .... With a 36 rear as you
have suggested he could make 68 mph at 10K in first gear ... this
means he could get by the 60' marker before he had to shift .... He
would also be turning 135 mph at 8500 in forth gear .... a nice place
to be with plenty of pull at the end ... I know this isn't traditional
strategy for 1/4 mile but this isn't a traditional vehicle ...  and
gee Phil ... if you could pull 8600 RPM in 5th out there on Interstate
70 ... you would be going 170 mph ...... yikes !!
