not atall, if there are no but joint connecters down there to support 
the switch, why would you have ever suspected such a thing existed? didn't 
you say that you noticed the tab and tappings AFTER someone mentioned the 
switch as a possible purpitrator?
       while i'm now aware that many bikes have this feature, it was sure a 
supprize to me after 30 yrs. in harleyland.
