Tony what is happening is your fuel needle is sticking. I had the same
problem the other day. You may have to tear it apart to see what is hanging
up but try this first, it fixed mine. The problem is that your bowl is over
full of fuel and the float is putting pressure on the needle trying to seat
it. There is probably a small piece of trash that is keeping it from
seating. The pressure of the float will not let it seat or allow the trash
to move. I unplugged my fuel pump and ran the bowls dry. This allowed the
float to drop and the trash or whatever to fall away. When I plugged the
pump back in everything was fine. I did it a couple of times to make sure.
