Okay...
I need alittle help, as carbs typically mystify me . . .
My #4 carb has developed a nasty habit. It has begun pumping fuel out
the top vent.Besides ruining my 19 mpg record, this is especially
hazardous as the gas is Baptizing my (newly rebuilt)Tourmaster motor!
Last Monday, all was well as I motored along racking up the first 500
miles on the PCW motor. Earlier, a few snafus developed (oil leak -
coolant overflow hose melting down on the # 1 exhaust pipe - coil
failure) but all were fairly simply dispatched.
This fuel overflow . . .I am not certain how to troubleshoot.
I took the side carb covers off, but the diaphragm - needle - and spring
thing - a- ma - jigs looked, fine. I compared the neighboring #3 card,
and they looked and functioned the same.
Any advice on how to stop the leak?
