Eric, I too have a 99, I also noticed that any notion of engine limitation
is non existent.
I was racing my buddy and what I thought was a loss of power was really the
engine was exceeding 11,000 Ouch!!! ( I think I shaved a few years off of mr
max). I am a lot more careful now. So if there was rev limiter I dont see
it, I dont know could it be a soft limiter? Anyway your not alone.
