Working on getting my '85 Max back on the road after like 5 years.
Currently waiting on paint for the gas tank after having the internal
rust chemically stripped (unfortunately, external paint went with it).
I'm using the time to work on the brakes. As I remember, braking was
kind of weak.
Apologies if this has been asked many times before, but will newer 4
pot brake calipers bolt on in place of the old 2 pots? Does the master
cylinder dia. remain the same between years? Are the rotors the same
dia. and thickness?
I've started flipping through my old cycle mags, but could use some
help here: Are there any other changes made since the '85 model year
(aside from the cosmetic) that I could be taking advantage of? I think
I remember it mentioned that fork tube wall thickness was increased at
some point...

  TIA.
