I pulled the headlight fuse (15 amp) and it also cuts out the Speedo, rpm,
and temp gauges. You had mentioned that I could run the accessory line to
one of the 10 amp fuses. There are three brown lines leading into the fuse
box. I don't really want to start snipping wires. You wouldn't happen to
know what line is the gauges light line? I know I am being overly greedy,
but I purchased the "Blue" day bulb 55W/60W and the bright "white" night bulb
80W/100W. What I ultimately want to happen with this duel street fighter
light unit is to have the high blue/low white on for day driving; and then
when I switch to high beam, have the high white/low blue on. At day this
would be 140W and at night this would place 155W drain on the system. There
are a lot of deer on these desert roads in El Paso. The further out you can
see them the better. The headlight circuit can handle 15A X 12 V = 180Watts
draw. The manuel says each dash meter light is 3 W so I should still be OK
but I would sure be better if I could get them on another circuit.
Thanks again
