hello all
    has anyone ever tried to remove the drive spline hub out of a stock 
wheel? i think what I'm would like to do is to remove the hub and instead of 
shimming the spline apart (for a bigger tire on the stock wheel) with the 
spacer, is to make a shim for behind the hub. then when it's back together 
and wheel mounted the spline would be in the stock position, and it wouldn't 
lose and of it's matting surface.
anyone have any thoughts on this?
