Bob H. and other interested parties,
in making a suggestion to Bob recently i mentioned that
when i got my bike that there where diff. paj2 and needles in the #2
cylinder than the others.it ran excellent and the plugs were all consistant.
now while i noticed this ididn't pay much more attention
untill yesterday, when i was brain storming on why my #2 cyl. has been LEAN
ever since i did the stage 7, and remembered about the former set-up.
when i got the bike cyls. 1,3,4 had MK152.5 mains,MK170paj2
and 5ez43 non adjustable needles. cyl.#2 had MK152.5 mains,MK150paj2 and
5ez44 adjustable needle set the equiv.of 1 full position richer than the
others.
well, i went out and recreated this with my present jetting
and the plug started to match collor in 10 mls. and the power took another
giant leap.
this allowed me to go back to my v-stack/ filter
configuration as the cyls. were now being fed the same. they now work VERY
WELL INDEED.
bottom line, you may not get ultimate tune from just
putting the same components in every position, esp. if you have/had a
situation like mine. good luck, hope this helps.
