Mark,
IMHO ... you need to sync the carbs ..... I would be surprised if that
does not resolve the problem. Otherwise, an exhaust leak, a lean pilot
mixture, or an air leak, (possibly a manifold o-ring or rubber spigot
boot), is responsible.
