Unfortunately, it looks like the only bikes in the world that take a
Yuasa - YB16AL-A2 or equivalent is the Vmax and some Viragos. I have
not seen a sealed gel battery from any manufacturer in this size
....... If you use the XS1100 battery case from Exactrep, (or a
salvage yard I guess), you can use a Yuasa - Y50-N18L-A equivalent,
(20 ah rating). I see now that Yuasa and several other manufacturers
have sealed gel replacements for this size and it is apparently very
popular, (it has the same length and height dimensions as the original
Vmax battery but is 3/4 inches thicker). I have information in regard

under "general info" ..... I think there must be a boatload of Viragos
out there so who knows ... perhaps we will get a gel battery in the
original size one of these days.
