Got up this morning and got ready for a ride. Turned the key and to my
surprise there was no lights and any other sign of electricity. I though I
must have left the key ON overnight and proceeded to jump it with my
girlfriend's Virago. Now for my second surprise the bike was still dead even
with the jumper cables connected to the running Virago's battery. No lights,
no nothing. My only clue is that lately, when hot and in traffic, my bike
occasionally would just die and it would take quit a bit to restart. I don't
know if this is related but I have a feeling it is.
Any of you gurus out there have any ideas?
PS: My bike is a stock 85 with a Kerker 421, modified air box, Nology hot
wires, BW thermal switch.
