Another thing, my reserve tank switch either doesn't work (ie, doesn't 
switch me over to reserve) or is somehow bypassed, so that the reserve 
switch is always effectively on.  The way i discovered this was by running 
dry on the freeway, moments after feeling the first hesitation and switching 
over to reserve.  My fuel light never went on.

Any guesses as to what might cause this?
