just hit it and go, but on my long highway drives (300 miles +) I use ear
plugs. I use the type the Air Force issues to the flight line crews. They
are soft foam. You role them into a tube with your finger and thumb, insert
them into your ear, then they expand to your ear canal. Good fit every time
and conformable for the hours I wear them. I have done a few of these runs
without plugs, and personally, my ears will ring for the remainder for the
day when I get off the bike.
