hello, i was doing some experimenting with the stage 7 needles and shims, and
found that with the clip in the third slot and a .020 shim the needle has
very little to no freeplay or movement in the slide assembly. is this not a
good thing? with the shim max (@ a steady 3000 rpm and quick twist of the
throttle) has had, kind of skip/pop and the plugs look a good tan color. but
with without the shim the needles have a lot more freeplay movement in the
slide assembly and max has no skip/pop when i crack the throttle, but maybe
running too lean. now did the leanness get rid of the skip/pop or did the
freeplay in the needle/slide assembly? PLEASE does anybody have any thoughts
on this??? :~( i want to get ride of this damm skippop but i don't want
max too lean either.
thanks
